The short version: you can vote without an account. We store your votes so we can build your list, we never sell anything, and you can delete it all from your profile.

What we store

• A random ID in a cookie (stgd_id, kept for two years). It's how we know which votes are yours without an account. It isn't used for tracking across other sites.
• Your votes: which player you picked in each matchup, and when.
• A username, if you pick one. Only you see it.
• Your email address, if you sign in. It's used only to send your sign-in link and code. No newsletters, no marketing.
• A display setting in your browser's local storage (whether career stats are expanded on the matchup card). It never leaves your device.
• Support messages, if you send one: your email, the message, your browser, and your ID and vote count so we can look into it. They're kept in our email inbox and only used to reply.

What's public

Every vote also counts toward the overall rankings. Those show only totals: nothing links a vote back to you.

Who handles it

• Cloudflare runs the site. Like any web host, it sees your IP address and keeps request logs for a few days.
• Supabase holds the database (votes, rankings) and your sign-in.
• Resend delivers the sign-in emails and support messages.
• Google hosts the inbox support messages arrive in.
• Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces, so Google sees your IP address when they load.
• Google AdSense shows the ads (see below).

Ads

The site is paid for by ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads, including ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Our own cookie and your votes are never shared with them.

In the EU, UK and Switzerland you'll be asked for consent first, and without it you only see non-personalised ads. Anywhere, you can turn off personalised ads in Google's ad settings, and read how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

There are no analytics.

Deleting your data

On your profile, use Delete account (or Delete my votes if you haven't signed in). That removes your sign-in, your email, every vote you've cast and your rankings, right away. The overall rankings keep what your votes added, with nothing tying it to you.

Support messages live in our inbox, not the database, so the button doesn't reach them. Email us and we'll delete them.

Clearing your cookies also cuts the link between you and your votes, but doesn't delete them. Use the button for that.

Kids

The site isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect anything from them.
